Tucker Arensberg, P.C. Announces Promotion of Four Attorneys

PITTSBURGH, PA, November 19, 2025. The law firm of Tucker Arensberg, P.C., one of the premier law firms in Pittsburgh with offices in Harrisburg, PA, New York, NY, Cleveland, OH, Beaver, PA, Charleston, WV, and the San Francisco Bay Area* is pleased to announce the election and promotion of four attorneys – with two elevated to Shareholder and two to Senior Counsel.

The newly appointed attorneys are listed alphabetically by last name:

1. Brandon S. O’Connor has been elevated to Shareholder. As a member of the firm’s Business & Finance Group, Brandon provides comprehensive legal counsel to businesses throughout their life cycle. He serves as a trusted advisor for businesses’ day-to-day needs and guides clients through milestone transactions such as buy/sell events, real estate deals, corporate reorganizations, and commercial financing. Although he represents clients spanning diverse industries, Brandon has developed a particular focus on healthcare and licensed professional businesses, regularly advising on practice acquisitions, compliance matters, and succession planning. His practical, tailored approach helps clients achieve long-term success.
   
2. Bart D. Wischnowski has also been named a Shareholder. Bart is a skilled criminal defense attorney with deep trial experience and a passion for advocacy. A former prosecutor in Blair and Beaver Counties, Bart has tried numerous jury and non-jury trials and handled criminal matters from investigation through appeal. His practice includes defending clients in a wide range of criminal cases and advising them through each step of the justice process. Known for his preparation, professionalism, and dedication to client service, Bart brings a strong sense of purpose to his work both in and out of the courtroom.
   
3. Joanna D. Studeny has been promoted to Senior Counsel. Joanna is an attorney in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring group. She brings a collaborative and client-focused approach to her work, assisting in all phases of bankruptcy, creditor rights, and civil litigation matters. Joanna’s prior experience as in-house counsel, legal researcher, and law clerk enhances her ability to navigate complex legal issues with precision and empathy.
   
4. Kayla M. Zizzi has been promoted to Senior Counsel. Kayla is a litigator who represents individuals, businesses, and municipalities in both criminal and civil matters, with a focus on commercial litigation and municipal law. She currently serves as Solicitor for the Silver Spring Township Zoning Hearing Board and has represented public entities on a wide range of legal issues, including zoning, redevelopment, and land use. With significant courtroom experience, Kayla is known for her thorough preparation, strong advocacy skills, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
