Andrew is a union-side labor and ERISA and employee benefits litigation attorney at Tucker Arensberg. He represents and advises his union clients on various matters relating to collective bargaining, grievance processing, DOL compliance and audits, NLRB proceedings, and internal operations.
Additionally, he works with Taft-Hartley trustees and plan administrators in collecting fringe benefit contributions and withdrawal liability against employers under ERISA. He assists Taft-Hartley trustees and plan administrators in fiduciary and other insurance coverage, design of retirement and benefit plans and reporting requirements. Andrew represents Taft-Hartley clients with respect to employee plan investigation, and routine audits in front of governmental agencies (IRS, DOL, and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation) and advises them on the issues of legislative compliance such as ERISA claims, the Affordable Care Act, COBRA coverage, retirement plans, SECURE Act, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996.
Andrew is admitted in all Ohio state and federal courts and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He attended Loyola University Maryland where he received his BA in Psychology and earned his JD from Cleveland-Marshall School of Law. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, riding his bike, and backcountry hiking.
