Associate attorney with experience in healthcare, estate planning, real estate, and business law.

Desiree brings a diverse and well-rounded background to her legal practice. She focuses her practice on business law and estates & trusts. She strives to be an approachable and friendly resource to her clients.

Desiree’s business law practice includes representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, and stock purchases. She regularly assists clients with entity formation and corporate governance. Additionally, she has helped women-owned businesses obtain WBE certification.

In her estates and trusts practice, Desiree works closely with individuals to develop tailored estate plans that reflect their unique needs and goals. She provides clients with confidence that their wishes will be clearly documented and carried out, despite life’s uncertainties.

Desiree brings a unique background to her law practice through her education in Neuroscience and Public Health. As an undergraduate, she conducted research under the guidance of Dr. Gretchen Hanson Gotthard examining the effects of a protein synthesis inhibitor on memory reconsolidation in a rat model. She presented this research at multiple conferences, including the International Conference for Psychological Sciences in Paris, France, and the research was published in Learning & Memory in 2020.

She aims to blend her love of law and science in her everyday practice. Desiree’s education and training in both law and science allow her to approach legal issues from various perspectives, especially in the healthcare field. As a result, she is able to provide practical, industry-specific advice to clients navigating complex regulatory environments.

When not in the office, you can find Desiree with a book in her hands, with headphones in listening to a podcast, or singing along with her favorite artists, including Taylor Swift.
