Litigator with Over a Decade of Experience Resolving Complex Commercial, Employment, and Natural Resource Disputes

Justin Harkins is a litigation attorney at Tucker Arensberg who brings over a decade of experience handling complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts. His practice spans commercial litigation, employment law, and natural resources and water law, and he is known for his ability to tailor his approach to the needs of each case—whether it requires assertive advocacy or strategic problem-solving.

Justin represents businesses, employers, and individuals in commercial disputes, tort claims, and insurance matters. He routinely defends employers against claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation, and advises clients on day-to-day compliance, investigations, and risk management.

Before joining Tucker Arensberg, Justin practiced for nearly a decade with a large regional law firm based in the Mountain West, where he served as lead counsel in trials, appeals, and administrative proceedings. He also clerked for the Hon. Timothy J. Cavan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana, where he supported a busy federal docket and developed a sharp eye for persuasive legal writing and courtroom strategy.
