Kevin J. O’Hare is a Shareholder with more than 30 years of experience advising individuals, families, businesses, and municipal entities throughout Western Pennsylvania. His practice focuses on business and municipal law, estate planning, and estate administration, providing strategic, practical counsel tailored to each client’s needs.
Kevin regularly advises entrepreneurs and business owners on a wide range of matters, including business formation, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and asset purchases and sales. His extensive experience with small and closely held businesses allows him to deliver solutions that are both practical and results-driven.
In addition to his business practice, Kevin has significant expertise in estate planning and administration. He assists clients with wills and trusts, powers of attorney, Medicare planning, and probate matters, and represents families in Orphans’ Court on fiduciary and estate issues.
Kevin has substantial experience representing municipal and public sector clients, including zoning hearing boards and a major municipal water and sewer authority in the Pittsburgh region. His municipal work spans governance matters, eminent domain, benefit assessments, administrative and regulatory compliance, and related litigation. As a former Township Commissioner, he brings a practical understanding of the operational realities facing local government.
Before entering private practice, Kevin served as in-house counsel for a multinational IT services corporation, giving him practical insight into the operational and strategic challenges business leaders face. Earlier in his career, he held roles in banking, technology, and public service.
