Lauren Hutchins McCartney concentrates her practice on toxic tort and complex litigation. She represents Fortune 500 companies, energy sector clients, and industrial premises defendants in national toxic tort and occupational injury litigation, including wrongful death and personal injury claims. Lauren has defended clients in high-stakes, multi-party cases involving premises liability, deliberate intent, indemnification, products liability, and workplace safety, and has secured favorable settlements in matters with multimillion-dollar exposures. She also has extensive experience handling personal injury claims arising from occupational diseases, cumulative trauma disorders, automobile and train collisions, and other civil disputes.
Before joining Tucker Arensberg, Lauren practiced with regional and national firms and served as Assistant Dean for Career Services and Professional Development at West Virginia University College of Law.
Outside of her practice, Lauren is actively involved in community engagement and youth mentorship. She has coached with Girls on the Run, enjoys hiking, and is an avid powerlifter.
